Registration has opened for the 2017 Byron Bay Rugby 7’s.
This year is shaping up to the biggest and best tournament to date.
With space for 36 mens teams and 16 Womens teams staged over three different competitions, Womens, Mens competitive and Mens social its not to be missed.
This years prize money is over $10,000 along with some great silverwear and a collection bar tabs and other runner up prizes.
Extra work has been put in to organise the ‘Fan Zone’ with fully licensed bar, live music, DJ’s and a collection of some of the Byron Shire’s best food trucks.
Entry to spectators and fans is completely free and all are welcome to come and watch rugby in its fastest and most competitive form – Sevens.
The event is staged over two full days and besides the rugby on show there are also further competitions and prizes to win.
We have the biggest raffle in the Northern Rivers to enter, running races and also a best dressed competition for any teams that choose to dress up for the social competition.
We have a scheduled players party on the Saturday night 14th October with all players welcome to come a socialise and share drinks and celebrate rugby and the event.
