COMPETITIONS FOR 2025
Men’s & Women’s Premier Competitions (18/10)
Our premier showcase of top-tier 7’s rugby. Both the Men’s and Women’s Premier divisions feature 8 of the best teams in the country, split into 2 pools of 4. All matches are played on a single action-packed day, with each team guaranteed a minimum of 4 games: pool play followed by a thrilling finals series divided into the Premier Cup and Premier Plate.
Expect fast, high-skill rugby and non-stop entertainment as these teams battle for bragging rights and the ultimate prize.
Maximum squad size: 14 players per team.
Men’s & Women’s Open Competitions (18/10)
The perfect mix of friendly competition and good times on and off the field. The Men’s Open Competition hosts 16 teams across 4 pools, while the Women’s Open Competition welcomes 8 teams in 2 pools. All games are played in a single day, with every team guaranteed at least 4 matches.
After pool play, the fun continues with finals split into the Open Cup, Open Plate, Open Bowl and Open Spoon — so everyone stays in the game right until the final whistle. It’s social rugby done right: plenty of running rugby, big smiles, and even bigger sideline banter.
Maximum squad size: 14 players per team.
Men’s Super Social Competition (17/10 & 18/10)
For teams that truly put the Super in social! Brand new for 2025, the Super Social is for players who turn up for the laughs first and the rugby second. Perfect for Golden Oldies sides, past players, and mates reuniting for another crack together.
Played over two laid-back days, the tournament kicks off under the Friday night lights before easing into a later start on Saturday — giving sore heads and tired legs a fighting chance. Matches wrap up early Saturday afternoon, so you can kick back and enjoy the rest of the festival from the sidelines, cold drink in hand.
8 teams, 2 pools of 4, with every team playing a minimum of 4 games and the chance to lift the Super Social Cup or Plate. Win or lose, good times are guaranteed.
Maximum squad size: 14 players per team.
Junior Competition (19/10)
The future stars of 7’s take over on Sunday! Our Junior Competition is designed to inspire and develop young players in a fun, safe, and competitive environment.
We offer two age grades for boys and girls — U14 and U16 — with each division featuring 8 teams. Every team plays a minimum of 4 games: 3 pool matches followed by Cup and Plate finals, ensuring plenty of rugby and chances to learn, grow, and celebrate.
Club and school teams are both welcome. It’s grassroots rugby at its best, creating memories and fostering the next generation of sevens legends.
Maximum squad size: 12 players per team.
