Bar, Alcohol and Licenced Area
Something to take note of to ensure there is no confusion or disappointment at the event is that you CANNOT BYO ALCOHOL to the event.
It is a fully licensed event and this year there is a licensed bar area. This is shown on the site map.
No alcohol can be anywhere outside the licensed area.
To reaffirm your own alcohol will not be permitted ANYWHERE at the event and drinks purchased at the bar must not be taken out of the licensed area. This is in accordance with NSW Licensing & NSW Police.
We have RSA marshals and roving security and police officers present at the event to keep on top of this and if you are caught with your own alcohol you will be asked to leave the event and forfeit your place in the competition with no refund of entry fees.
Please take note of this and we appreciate your understanding.
First Aid
We have an onsite first aid team and Hub to ensure everyone is well looked after during the event. Strapping and any other physiotherapy needs will be available onsite at a cost per team/ player. The first aid and Physio service will be championed by Gemma Harvey from Vitalise Physiotherapy Lismore. She is very experienced in her field and in the Rugby Union circuit and had been looking after Byron Bay Rugby Club for the last 5 years.
